Betula Grossa 【水目桜】

It belongs to of Betula genus of Betulaceae family and one of the broad leaved deciduous trees. It is a Japanese original tree. The difference of the sapwood and the duramen is clear. The sapwood is yellowish-white and the duramen is brownish- red. The annual ring is not clear. The quality of the wood is heavy and hard. The surface is delicate. The surface finish is very good.
