Tilia Japonica 【科】

The xylem is white and the annual ring is not clear. It is soft and easy to be processed but the durability is not very good. It is used for plywood, disposable chopsticks and matchsticks. In old days, it was used for clothing material made from its fiber. Even now, the fiber is used for some accessories.
