Toxicodendron Vernicifluum  【漆】

Urushi, “Toxicodendron Vernicifluum” is said to named after the word “Uruwashi(graceful)” or “Uruoshi(gentle and mellow)”. The mango belongs to Anacardiaceae family. Urushi produces lacquer, which gets people a rash. But the humans are capable to have some tolerance for the rash. It’s an empirically fact. New craft workers gets the tolerance by licking the lacquer on purpose.
