The difference of the sapwood and the duramen is clear. The sapwood is brownish-white, and the duramen is brownish-red. The annual ring is obscure to see. The quality of the wood is heavy and hard. The durability is moderate. The wood bark is delicate and glossy. The surface finish is rather easier.
