Empress Tree 【桐】

In Japanese tradition, when a girl is born, the parents plant a young plant of the tree, which will be processed into a chest of drawers for her wedding. The difference of the sapwood and the duramen is not clear, and the whole color is dark gray. It is one of the lightest trees in Japan. Its processing is very easy, while durability is not very good.
