Champaca 【チャンパカ】

It grows in tropical or subtropical zone in Southeast Asia. It is also known as “Kinkoboku”. The difference of the sapwood and the duramen is clear. The duramen is yellowish-brown or grayish brown with green color, and the sapwood has is grayish-white. It is similar to Japanese Bigleaf Magnolia.
