Teak Tree 【チーク】

The sapwood is yellowish-white and its portion is rather narrow. The duramen is deep gold with dark stripes. The grain is straight and profound. It is resistant to water, so the durability is excellent. It is one of the best trees in the world and called the king of lumber. It is used for furniture material.
